Conference fee: 50 EUR
This fee includes the coffee break refreshments, conference materials and the conference closing dinner on the 26th of May.
This fee does not include the accomodation and transport costs.
Daily lunch can be ordered for 8 EUR/day: three-course meal, mineral water.
This sum can be transfered with the conference fee. If you would like to order lunch, please, write your demand to Fruzsina Cseh, cseh[at]etnologia.mta.hu Lunch tickets will be included with conference registration.
You are kindly asked to transfer the conference fee (and lunch fee if required) till the 31th of March, 2012. Paying by Credit Card is not possible. For an invoice and bank account number please, contact: Fruzsina Cseh, cseh[at]etnologia.mta.hu (All costs can be payed in HUF regarding the current rate of exchange.)
For an invoice, please, write your name and address or the address and name of your Institute, who pays your costs.

Rooms and facilities
There are eleven room sin the renovated monument building, all furnished in a way to reflect a historical atmosphere. All the rooms offer bathrooms and are equipped with in-room television, minibar, hair dryer, telephone and internet access. Check-in time for guests on the day of arrival is from and they are requested to leave their rooms until 11am on the day of departure.

- four bed apartment,
- single and double junior suite in the attic.
Parking
It is only allowed to drive in and park in the territory of the Castle district with a previously issued permission. Permissions are provided by the Parking Ltd. (Tel.: 00-36-1-374-0814, fax: 00-36-1-374-0724; e-mail: behajtas@parking.hu). We can provide unattended parking places in the parking lot at the Lovas Street (situated right outside the gate of the Castle district). This parking ticket shall be requested at the desk in the Guesthouse.
Attended parking facilities:
Mammut Shopping Center (2nd district, 2-6 Lövőház Str.): parking fee: gross 200 HUF/hour; at night: 10.200 HUF.
Limited parking places: in court at 32 Országház Street. (further information at the reception desk).
Guesthouse Rules
- The Guesthouse of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences is located in the Buda Castle, at the corner of Kard utca, at the address: I., Országház utca 21. There are eleven rooms in the renovated monument building, all furnished in a way to reflect a historical atmosphere. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, television, minibar, hairdryer, telephone and internet access.
- Check-in time: from 2 p.m. till 10 p.m. If you want to arrive to the Guesthouse earlier or to leave it later than the indicated time, we kindly ask you to inform us in advance by phone on the following phone number: 00 36 1 457 8090. Upon arrival our guests are kindly requested to fill the registration form. The Guesthouse is only authorised to accommodate properly registered guests.
- Check-out time: u ntil 11 a.m.
- Room reservation: We only accept orders placed in writing,by fax or by e-mail. Fax: 00 36 1 457 8090, email: vendeghaz@mtatk.hu.
- Room reservation cancellation terms: Cancellation two days before arrival is free of charge. Cancellation within two days or if you do not show up on the check-in date, you will be charged for one night.
- Breakfast: All our prices include breakfast. Breakfast room is located on the ground floor. It is open from 7.30 a.m. till 9 a.m.
- Minibar: Expenses of minibar consumption have to be settled according to the price list, at the reception desk.
- Extra bed: Most of the rooms can be equipped with one or two extra beds, depending on the size of the room. There are 8 extra beds available in the Guesthouse. We charge HUF 3000,-/bed/day. We provide families having a baby with baby cot and high chair free of charge.
- Payment procedure: For the Guesthouse services guests can pay in cash. Members of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (HAS) and Members of Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences can also pay by means of money transfer.
- Taxes: Our prices include VAT and the local tax.
- Smoking in the Guesthouse: Lendvay Salon is the only smoking area in the building.
- Internet: All the rooms are equipped with internet access. In the Guesthouse's lobby there is a computer terminal at the disposal of our guests. This service is free of charge.
- Parking facilities: Parking in the Castle District is permitted only with preliminary arranged permission issued by the Parking Kft. (Phone: 374-0814, fax:374-0724; email behajtas@parking.hu). We can offer limited number of parking tickets to the parking lots at the foot of the Castle Hill in Lovas utca. Tickets are available at the reception desk of the Guesthouse. There is an underground parking garage in the Mammut Shopping Centre (II. Lövőház utca 2-6.). Parking fee is HUF 200,-/hour, for the night they charge HUF 10.200,-. Limited number of cars may park in the courtyard at Országház utca 32. (information at the reception desk).
- Storage of valuables: The Guesthouse is responsible only for money or other valuable things stored in the safe of the Guesthouse at the reception. This service is free of charge.
- Additional services: the Lendvay Salon can be rent for meetings, workshops, conferences with limited number of attendants (15-20 persons), we arrange baggage storage in case of early arrival or late departure, airport transfer or taxi booking.
- Our guests are kindly requested to respect other guests' rest. For damages caused out of carelessness or inapropriate use we charge the guest who caused it or his/her legal representative. Please bear in mind that we lock the entrance door at midnight. In case of arrival after this time, please ring the bell.
